Agriculture Development and Economic Challenges
Economic Stability is very important for being a prosperous country.We have Many of factors that impacts on economy. For economy we have to focus on Policy Makers and Development Plans.If we have developmental econometric plan then the next implementation of economic plans according to standard rules.
GDP From Agriculture in Pakistan increased to 2284.561 PKR billions in 2017 from 2208.087 PKR Billions in 2016. GDP From Agriculture in Pakistan averaged 2027.91533 PKR Billions from 2006 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 2284.561 PKR Billions in 2017 and a record low of 1775.346 PKR Billions in 2006.

Agriculture contribute the largest sector of our economy. Majority of the population, directly or indirectly, dependent on this sector. It contributes about 24% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and accounts for half of employed labour force and is the largest source of foreign exchange earnings. It feeds whole rural and urban population. Realizing its importance, planners and policy makers are always keen to have reliable area and production statistics of agricultural crops well in time. Policy makers primarily need accurate and timely statistics for the important crops such as wheat, cotton, rice, sugarcane, maize etc. However, in recent years, due to persistent hikes in the prices of essential commodities like pulses, onions, potatoes, chillies and tomatoes these crops have also gained in economic importance.
Research and Development sector needs to prioritize as agro-tech in the world using most advance production methods.As far as Pakistan is concern many government and non government institutions are working on R&D and almost many research and thesis published.
